They are made of long lasting, non-absorbent, food grade polymer. They have substantial resistance to UV light meaning that it will take a long time for them to become brittle in sunlight.
 
The moulded shape and smooth surfaces are easy to clean and provide very few places for red mite to hide. Hygienic, low maintenance and durable.
