Click & Collect during Lockdown

 

As we have no birds available for sale and a very small shop that makes social distancing difficult, we are not planning to re-open for a couple of weeks.  

 

As soon as we have birds on site for customers to look at then we will re-open normally but for now we are continuing with Click and Collect.

 

FEED AND EQUIPMENT SALES 

Orders will be ready for collection within 3 hours of being placed (usually much less).

If you would like to purchase feed, supplies or equipment:

 

Please use our online service to order food & products - it shows real time stock & will be processed much faster than phone orders. Please avoid telephoning product orders if possible as we are inundated with calls for bird sales and it will delay your order.

  1. Browse the Online Shop and select your products

  2. Select 'Collect in Store'

  3. Pay online using a credit card or Paypal

  4. We will email you confirmation as soon as your order is ready to collect (within 3 hours, please also check your Junk folder).

  5. Come and collect your goods at a time to suit you.  If another customer happens to be loading can we ask you to just wait until they have loaded and left before leaving your car.

  • All orders are ready to collect within 3 hours (please check your Junk folder or email us if you haven't received anything).

  • You are welcome to collect from 8am - 8pm 7 days a week.

  • Please don't arrive to collect your goods until you have received the confirmation email with details of where your goods are located as they won't be ready.

  • Your goods will be left in a covered area (with no handles to touch) but will need to be collected before 8pm on the day they are ready.

  • Can we ask you to collect as quickly as possible (after you have received your email with collection details) as space is very limited.

BIRD SALES

Bird sales have been exceptionally busy and there are long waiting lists for a lot of breeds. Please check the Hybrids for Sale page or  'Pure Breeds for Sale' page for more details.

To order

  1. Email us with your telephone number and requirements.  You will receive a confirmation of receipt email.  We are getting hundreds of emails daily so please bear with us, it may take a few days to reply.

  2. As the birds become available we are ringing everyone back in order.   

  3. We can talk though your needs and also arrange to leave any feed or equipment you may need. If time allows we can FaceTime or WhatsApp you photos of pure breeds (this isn't feasible for choosing individual hybrids). 

  4. We will take payment by card over the telephone

  5. Your birds will be boxed just before you are due to collect (purpose made transport boxes are £2.95 and take up to 4 hens but unfortunately we can't use customers boxes at this time).

  6. We will arrange a time for collection with you, and then put your birds out for you to pick up from a safe place.

All birds are on a first come first serve basis and will need to be collected within 48 hours or ordering.
