Zombie chicks are an unusual cross between an Ayam Cemani male and a white Leghorn female. Some of the offspring will have the distinctive black skin (but not all) and they usually finish as a white hen with black feathers flecked throughout. They make exceptional layers and are a really unusual addition to any flock.
We regularly hatch chicks from late February and they are available from day old onwards. The ages may vary so please contact us if you need to know the exact age.
You will need to be set up with a very large, secure container, heat lamp or heat plate and chick crumb (all available to buy instore).
Please note pure breed chicks are unsexed and unfortunately we can't take any cockerels back.
The price of the chicks will increase by £2 a week once they reach 30 days old.
