Hen Size - Medium
Colour - Either glossy black with a beetle green sheen & varying amounts of copper neck feathers, however some are all black with no copper feathers. Some have a small amount of leg feathering, a throwback from their Marans ancestors.
Eggs - Up to 260 per year
Egg Colour - Mid to dark brown
Character - Usually docile and friendly.
