Please note - If you are collecting outside shop opening hours please add our purpose made transport boxes to your basket as hens will be boxed up and placed in the Click & Collect building (3 medium hens can be fitted in one box @ £2.95 each). 
 
Hen Size - Medium
 
Colour - Black with a beetle green sheen & various amounts of gold neck feathers. PLEASE NOTE:  The current group are predominatly black with little or no gold.
 
Eggs - Up to 300 per year
 
Egg Colour - Light to mid brown.
 
Character - Usually friendly, hardy, calm hens.
