Serama's are miniature chickens and are the smallest breed in the world with big personalities!
Being so small they do need protecting from birds of prey and rats so would need to be kept in a secure run that's sheltered from wind and rain. They don't generally live with larger breeds as their size makes them vulnerable.
Despite their small size, Serama chickens are big on character and are incredibly friendly and social. They make ideal pets, especially for those with limited space, as they do well in smaller environments.
Seramas come in a variety of colours so we can't guarantee what colour we will have - please call us if you would like to know the colours available. We sometimes also have them with frizzle and silkie feathers.
Pure Breeds - We only tend to sell pure breeds in pairs (or with other pure breeds of a similar age) unless there are exceptional circumstances as they are very prone to being bullied. Pure breeds are slower growing and at this age wouldn't be suitable to mix with hybrids or older birds but would need to be kept separate and very slowly introduced when older.
